Serenite Restaurant
The Sérénité Restaurant & Culinary Institute launched in spring of 2018. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit working in conjunction with the Recovery Center of Medina County and open to anyone in the recovery community, Sérénité provides culinary training over the course of an six-month program. Students are paid to attend, and have full access to all of the Recovery Center of Medina County’s programming, case management, and support systems. Sérénité helps to change the face of recovery by providing essential on-the-job training for students and generates revenue to support the recovery center, supplementing the cost of education. While dining, witness the power of a second chance and help change the perspective of what successful recovery looks like.
